Get the ball rolling Again

I actually did get some writing stuff done this week, surprisingly.

First, I got mostly through another hard edit for Biker Blues to get it ready for beta reading. I went down a rabbit hole about ARC reading as well. It isn’t applicable yet since I want beta readers to put their eyes on Biker Blues and Ace of Wands first before I’m ready for formatting and publishing editing, but it’s good information to have for later.

I also got a lot of editing done on Ace of Wands. I added two scenes, and I think there’s one more I’m going to add before I start another round of hard edits to get it ready for Beta as well. I also started looking into the legalities of publishing (ISBNs, copyright, etc.) and started documenting my process better.

Right now, I’m writing on NovelPad, since it has a web browser option I can access at work. Unlike google docs, which is blocked on our internet. No clue who’s the reason that rule got implemented, but at least it wasn’t me. No clue how I’m gonna make the formatting work since I’m still not sure if I’m sticking to just digital copies, or if I need to figure out how to work paper publishing options as well.

I’m also getting back into the social medica aspect of marketing now that’s I’m feeling more like myself. I don’t think I’ll ever get to the point I can post daily, but at least I can start designing and posting again now that my brain isn’t mush.

Starting next week, I’m hoping the posts will be longer. I’ll be moved to the new system with everyone else so I should have more time between calls. I’m also feeling more like myself, so I can get more writing done in the evenings when I get home. All and all, life is looking up, and I can’t wait.
